This compressed executable has the capability to bypass any static anti-virus scanning engine as the virus signature is compressed. Packed file can be sent anywhere via internet as its size is reduced and does not remain bulky anymore.
A Compressor is a tool that is used to minimize the size of any file without harming the quality or content to an unacceptable extent thus facilitating more data to be stored in a given amount of disk or memory space. Data compression is also widely used in backup utilities, spreadsheet applications, and database management systems. Data, such as bit-mapped graphics, can also be compressed to a small fraction of their normal size.
