Application software is a program or a group of programs that utilize the capabilities of a computer steadfastly and meticulously to a task that the user wishes to perform. It is a tedious job to learn the assembly languages and tough commands; therefore all the application softwares are premeditated in such way that even a layman can use them. Application software is unable to run without the operating system and system utilities and hence sits on top of systems software. Application softwares include database programs, word processors, and spread sheets.
